Learn to make cutscenes in unity3d by building a stealth Game.
Objective: Challenge Activate Sleeping Guard Cutscene.
Before doing this create a script called GrabKeyCardActivation.
In the first step attach the script to the Grab_Cut_Scene_Zone in the hierarchy and set is trigger option to true.
Enable the Sleeping Guard cutscene, and open the timeline by double click the playable assets.
Open the script and add the gameObject variable called sleeping guard Cutscene and add serialize field. Then add the OnTriggerEnter method then check if we collide with the player we enable the game over cutscene.
Now Select the sleeping guard activation zone and drag and drop the sleeping guard cutscene to the hierarchy in the game object field. Create an activation track and reduce the length of it to the last frame and take the player to the field of activation track in the timeline. Then, disable the sleeping guard cutscene.
Don't forget to hide the sleeping guard assets at the start of the cutscene.
This is how I solve this plus I add a fade to black to the end so we don't see two Daren, we will disable the cutscene to give the illusion that we have one Daren only
